Business Problem
Goal: The goal of this project is to implement Power Apps and Power Automate to automate workflows and processes, thereby enhancing operational efficiency, improving data accuracy, and fostering seamless collaboration for our Oil and Energy client.
The objective of this project is to implement a centralized automated system that facilitates monthly email communication and data submission/collection for departmental time allocations in order to streamline the client's intercompany charges. The application will include departmental workflows, enable approvers and business owners to review and make changes, and provide reporting capabilities for accounting. Additionally, the system will allow departments to request updates to the employee roster from HR. The ultimate goal is to provide approvers and business owners with a consolidated view of the percentage time allocation of resources, access to historical data, and an efficient platform for managing and optimizing resource allocation within the organization.
Business Solution
To achieve the objective of implementing a centralized automated system for departmental time allocations, we propose utilizing Power Apps and Power Automate as the core solutions. These Microsoft technologies offer robust capabilities for developing custom applications and automating workflows, ensuring an efficient and streamlined process for the client.
Building Custom Applications:
Using Power Apps, we will develop custom applications tailored to the client's requirements.
