We utilized a combination of Amazon Web Services (AWS) tools such as Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3), Amazon Simple Queue Service (SQS), and AWS Batch to ensure scalability, performance, and security.
Our approach to deployment and management was seamless, we used EC2 instances and existing application deployment tools and processes, or integrated with automated deployment tools such as AWS CodeDeploy or AWS OpsWorks. We also used SQS to distribute the load in CDT BAT instances and AWS Batch to dynamically provision the optimal quantity and type of compute resources based on the volume and specific resource requirements of the batch jobs submitted.
